World Civilizations is a comprehensive study of the human experience from the emergence of early civilizations through the Renaissance to the world of today. As such it is designed as a survey course. This means that over the course of the year we will trace developments in economic and political systems, examine how the geography of the world influenced their development, and explore how the world has emerged with such diverse cultures. Although we won’t go into great depth on any subject, you should gain a better understanding of the complex issues and global interactions that face leaders and citizens today.
Here is the portfolio list for Term 2. Remember that you should add this to what you have from your portfolio last term - we'll continue to build this throughout the year. Also, keep in mind that you'll need to do BOTH of the portfolio activities this term; not just one. Below you'll find links to some good resources to complete your historical article.
