See you in class!
Mrs Spencer
World Civilizations is a comprehensive study of the human experience from the emergence of early civilizations through the Renaissance to the world of today. As such it is designed as a survey course. This means that over the course of the year we will trace developments in economic and political systems, examine how the geography of the world influenced their development, and explore how the world has emerged with such diverse cultures. Although we won’t go into great depth on any subject, you should gain a better understanding of the complex issues and global interactions that face leaders and citizens today.
If for any reason you didn't get the grade you wanted on our Unit 1 test remember that you are welcome to do test corrections. Just remember to stop by my room during lunch or after school any time between now and Fall Break (October 15) to get those taken care of. I'll give you full instructions on what to do when you get here. Also remember there is always extra credit available too.
