- Midterms: THIS FRIDAY, September 25
- Unit 1 Test: NEXT Thursday or Friday, Oct 1 (B-day) or Oct 2 (A-day). If you know you can't make it that day, you need to set up a time with me to make up that test. Drop by and let's chat!
- Parent/Teacher Conferences: Friday, October 2 from 3-7 p.m.
Congratulations! You've all survived your first group presentations. Overall I must say that they were well done and well presented. We'll do these kinds of projects periodically throughout the year, but breathe easy - you'll have a bit of a break for now. Below are links to copies of your presentations in case you want to show them off or if you need to review them for your notes. NEXT UP: We're going to be using the information from your presentations to write our first essay! But if that's not your forte, don't panic. We'll be spending some time to work through the ins-and-outs of writing a history essay so a lot of the hard work should be done in class - you'll just need to finish polishing it up at home. Also, here's a heads-up on some other important upcoming dates:
Here's the link to the Symbaloo page that will provide you a bunch of resources to your topics for this project. Remember you can still do a general Google search but I would recommend starting here as it has a bunch of useful information for you. Happy Hunting!
Hello All, Remember that next class (Thur. for A-day, Fri. for B-day) we'll be in the computer lab. This means that you NEED to have your Weber State login information. I won't be able to help you log on if you don't have your username and password already set up. Since this is the case, here are some helpful instructions on how to get that set up. In order to set up your username you'll need to have already been admitted to WSU. This should have been taken care of at Sophomore Orientation, but if you're not sure, check with Holly in the office. Then you can get online and get it taken care of. Thanks so much, and I'll see you in class! Mrs.Spencer
